Just today Vice President Joe Biden arrived in Israel in order to further Israeli-Arabian relations. What do you believe will be the outcome of his visit? Do you believe that Vice President Biden will alleviate the fears of Israel that the U.S. does not really understand their concerns or the outcome of their policies? Will his mediatorial work further the peace talks between these two groups? If not, will Hana Sinora be right in saying that the credibility of the Obama Administration will be “shot?”

Obviously only time will tell.
I don’t think that his visit will usher in any great movement towards reconciliation and peace in Israel-Arabian relations. Why should it?
Not only is their tension religiously fueled, but I’m not aware of many – if any at all – other factors that would lead towards a superficial peace.
It seems as if the Obama’s Administration’s credibility with Israel was never really established and I don’t think they really have to much ground they can lose. Well, depending on the Policies they will encourage to implement, they could further break the fracture that has already been created in our relationships.
